The upgrade trap.
A folding stand holds still for about three months. Then the wheel starts to flex, and every way up leads to a full-size cockpit you never wanted in your home.
Buy the rig once. Upgrade the wheelbase and pedals, keep the chassis.

Three seating positions, structural renders.

An accent chair that holds you like a race bucket.

A breathable cushion, built for long sessions.

Split seat design: back and base adjust separately, so it still reads as a chair when you're not driving.
Nothing was softened to hit the price.
Direct drive welcomed.

Quick-release seat pins.
Seat rails are where most people get stuck, so we designed them out. The seat drops onto quick-release pins instead.

Specification.
- Same deck as the 282.
- Every wheelbase that bolts straight onto a 282 deck fits the 177.
- No front mount, so Simucube 2 and VRS, which need one, do not fit.
- Tested with Asetek Invicta at 100% FFB.
Fitment
The 177 shares the SPEC 282's wheel deck and pedal slot — with one exception: there's no front mount, so Simucube 2 and VRS don't fit.
Wheelbases
Same deck as the SPEC 282. “Fits” bolts straight to the standard wheel deck on its own bolt pattern — no adapter.

Simucube 2
Front-flange — not the standard deck patternNot supported. The 177 has no front mount, so Simucube 2 Sport, Pro and Ultimate all need an accessory the 177 doesn't have.

| Pro | Not supported |
| Ultimate | Not supported |
VRS
Front-flange — needs the same mount as Simucube 2Not supported. DirectForce Pro needs the Simucube 2 Wheelbase Mount, and the 177 has no front mount to bolt it to.
| DirectForce Pro | Not supported |
Pedals
The pedal deck is a continuous adjustable slot — the same part used on the 282, not a fixed bolt pattern drilled for one brand's holes — so essentially any pedal set fits, load cell and Active Pedal included.
Any brand
Not a fixed bolt pattern for one brand — essentially any pedal set fits, load cell and Active Pedal included.

When does my SPEC 177 ship?
The 177 is built in batches. The first batch is estimated to ship in mid-November. You'll get an email with your batch's confirmed ship date. We publish only dates we can hold.
Can I cancel after I preorder?
Yes. Full refund, any time before your batch ships. You're charged in full at checkout, the same as any order. There is no separate deposit step.
Can I buy just the rig, or just the seat?
No. The 177 ships as one complete set, rig and seat together, at one price.
Can I mix the rig and cushion colors?
Yes. Rig in Indigo or Linen, cushion in Indigo or Linen: four combinations, same price.
Where does it ship from?
US and Canada ship from our Los Angeles warehouse. Everywhere else ships direct from China. Some regions may be stocked by a local partner later. See Showrooms.
Compatibility
What wheelbases and pedals fit?
The 177's wheelbase deck is the same as the 282's: anything that mounts on a 282 mounts on a 177. One exception: the 177 has no front mount, so the Simucube 2 front mount plate does not apply.
Assembly and warranty
How long does assembly take?
Easier than the 282. For reference, our team put one together in about an hour.
What's the warranty?
Two years.
