amazing product

The coloring on the bolts is sooooo cool. The included screw driver bit is also really awesome. Very pricey, but if i could i would replace every single bolt in the build with these

Great part, works well! Mine did have factory lubrication applied but was still a bit stiff. I used some store bought lube to loosen the rail up a bit and works perfectly now. Butter smooth

High quality part

The seat sizing is close to a medium and runs too small for me. There is no sizing information on the website so its impossible for you to know if this will fit you or not. im 6"1' and 235 definitely on the bigger side. and i have squeeze into the chair. For sure I will be getting another chai for better fitment

The quality of the metal parts is top tier. Very precisely designed as precisely machined.

For the price I paid roughly 2.5k USD, the customer experience was not good. I paid for the rig, seat, seat slider, and a 2 sets of titanium bolts. 4 weeks ago the initial purchase was completed. To date I have 0 hours on the rig because I am STILL missing 6 parts (pictures included). All of the missing parts are for the steering column/wheelbase section. After waiting for week with no communication the order had not shipped and i started emailing customer support. After a full 2 weeks the parts had finally shipped (fully listed as in stock even at time of writing the website still listed as in stock). After shipping delays as I went to build the thing, I realized that a total of 6 parts were missing Again pictures included. At time of writing, 4 weeks after the money left my account, I still don't have a completed rig. Customer support even confirmed that they knew the parts weren't in stock in the US, and it took me emailing them to find this out. Through all the waiting and mistakes on Spec's end they were never pro-active. Without raising a stink as a customer, I don't think I would have ever received the missing parts.

Had I known the amount of hassle and waiting that I was signing up for, I would have gone to micro center and bought a Sim lab chassis for 900 bucks and seat for 500 ish and walked out of the store with a complete rig. As good as the parts are, for the money, I cant say I'd recommend this. Money left my account on July 10th and the date of writing is August 7th and I still cant finish my chassis.

I haven’t used them yet, I can’t decide where to use them on my rig. The black and green vibe of the Studio looks so good.

Outside of everything else I remarked on. I’m very impressed with how quickly Ken responded to my email questions about wheelbase fit considerations. He even supplied baseplate hole pattern schematic.

The adjustable seat rails are a nice to have.

Being able to effortlessly move the Studio rig around, well worth it. Helped the build process as well.

The foot well adds to the cost, but I don't regret buying it. The storage space cleans up the build super nice very clean cable/power supply management.

The seat is very comfortable and supportive.

The single monitor mount is super solid, I don't notice any vibration.

The Studio 282 Sim Rig is a functional work of art designed by Artisans. The fit, the detail, the consistency of the parts, superb! Building was very pleasurable, seeing it come together, brilliant. The Studio is my first rig, I don’t have past builds to compare it to, but I have wrenched on my own personal dirt bikes over the years. Driving with The Studio is incredible compared to using a desk mount system. Super happy with my purchase! Super awesome customer support from SPEC as well.

Perfect rig. I upgraded from a cheaper, tube frame rig that flexed under braking and steering. The Spec frame solved all of that. It is the most complete, well thought out kit I’ve ever assembled. Quality is perfect!

What a system, it’s just simply stunning!

From start to finish the entire process of ordering, receiving, and assembling was amazing. This is definitely a premium rig (and comes with premium customer service) that not only looks amazing but is easy to install and really modular and intuitive. Honestly i think i could do the entire thing start to finish in less than 2 hours if I were to do it over

Ken (and Amber) were so easy to work with. They responded quickly to questions and I couldn’t be happier.

Money well spent and I highly recommend this rig. I’ll be adding more mods for sure!

The Single Monitor Stand looks amazing, holds uo my 45" OLED with no issues and the amount of adjustability makes things nice and easy to dial everything in.

One hint, use painters tape on the inside portion of the mount arms to protect the uprights through you adjustments. The way its set up, it can scratch the anodized upright as you install. Takes a few minutes longer, but I like to keep my stuff pristine.

Great coaster set, love the duality and easy install. Well worth the money!

Ken and Amber we amazing. The packaging is seriously the best I've ever seen, all parts came in perfect condition. If I had a question, Ken answered immediately and gave me some great ideas to make all my equipment work. Kudos!

Beautiful cockpit. The anodization is excellent, all the colors on each piece match perfectly, especially the Spectral Purple. Directions were easy to follow, I recommend you go on YouTube and watch the video. One thing I did to protect the paint was add painted take to any piece that was going to potentially be moved as you set up the rig to your liking, keeps everything looking perfect.

Kudos to the entire Spec team, Ken and Amber were very responsive. If you have any reservations due to the cost, I can say its very well worth it in every regard. Do it!

Really impressed with how heavy duty this PC tray is. I mounted it behind my rig and it instantly made my setup look much cleaner. The design is simple but very clever, especially how it helps hide all the cables. Highly recommend if you care about a clean setup.

Only thing I’d love to see is color options like the 282, would make it match the rig even better. Still a great product though.
