The upgrade trap.

A folding stand holds still for about three months. Then the wheel starts to flex, and every way up leads to a full-size cockpit you never wanted in your home.

Buy the rig once. Upgrade the wheelbase and pedals, keep the chassis.

Fitment

Fanatec, MOZA, Simagic, Simucube 3, PXN, Asetek and Conspit bases bolt straight to the wheel deck, the same deck as the SPEC 282. No adapter. Tested with a 27 Nm Asetek Invicta at 100% FFB. Essentially any pedal set fits, load cell and Active Pedal included.

The 177 has no front mount, so Simucube 2 and VRS DirectForce Pro are not supported.

Wheelbases

Same deck as the SPEC 282. “Fits” bolts straight to the standard wheel deck on its own bolt pattern, no adapter.

Ordering

When does my SPEC 177 ship?

The 177 is built in batches. The first batch reaches our China warehouse in mid-November. Orders outside the US ship direct from China from late November, by sea or air. US orders ship from our Los Angeles warehouse once the batch lands there by sea, estimated mid-December. You'll get an email with your batch's confirmed ship date. We publish only dates we can hold.

Can I cancel after I preorder?

Yes. Full refund, any time before your batch ships. You're charged in full at checkout, the same as any order. There is no separate deposit step.

Does the 177 come with a seat?

Yes. The complete 177 is the rig and the seat together, at one price. The seat is a split design: the back and the base adjust separately and lock with quick-release pins. If you already own one half, pick Rig only or Seat only at the top of this page.

Can I buy just the rig, or just the seat?

Yes. The rig and the seat are each sold on their own page as well. This page is the complete set, rig and seat together, which is what most people want. Buy a half if you already own the other one.

Can I mix the rig and cushion colors?

Yes. Rig in Indigo or Linen, cushion in Indigo or Linen: four combinations, same price.

Where does it ship from?

US orders ship from our Los Angeles warehouse. Canada and everywhere else ship direct from China, and checkout shows the shipping rate for your address. If it can't ship there, send us your cart and we quote it by email. Some regions may be stocked by a local partner later. See Showrooms.

Compatibility

What wheelbases and pedals fit?

Every base that bolts straight onto a SPEC 282 deck, and essentially any pedal set. Simucube 2 and VRS are the exceptions. Every model is listed under fitment.

Assembly and warranty

How long does assembly take?

Easier than the 282. For reference, our team put one together in about an hour.

What's the warranty?

Two years.
